In addition to completing a loan application, it is generally recommended that you bring along the following additional financial information to expedite your loan request:
- A business financial statement (if you are incorporated), and copies of business tax returns covering a 3-year period if possible.
- A personal financial statement and copies of 3 years of personal tax returns if possible.
- A copy of the real estate contract is always helpful along with a legal description.
- If this is a building project, a copy of the plans and specifications, along with a builder’s estimate of the cost is very helpful.
- An abstract of the property, which will be examined by a local attorney, with an attorney’s opinion or title insurance being required prior to closing. An appraisal by a bank-approved appraiser will be needed.
